Enter the SPAR Women’s Challenge & stand a chance to become one of 6 finalists to win a Proton X50 standard. The Jozi finalists of the lucky draw will be called onto the stage during prize giving.

The six drawn finalists will travel to Gauteng as VIP guests for the SPAR Grand Prix Awards at the end of the year, where the final draw will take place. The winner takes home a luxury Proton car and the other five will receive runner-up Proton prizes. T&C’s apply.

LUCKY DRAW COMPETITION RULES:
  1. This promotional competition is organised by SPAR and Proton South Africa (“Promoters”).
  2. The promotional competition is open to permanent residents of South Africa over the age of 18 years except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by SPAR and Proton South Africa.
  3. By entering the promotional competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoters, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend, or cancel this competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary.
  4. A total of six fi nalists will be determined by random draw at the following SPAR Women’s Challenge races:
    a. Cape Town on 23 April 2023 at Green Point Precinct, Green Point;
    b. Gqeberha on 27 May 2023 at Pollok Beach Grass Area Summerstrand;
    c. Durban on 25 June 2023 at Kings Park Outer Fields
    d. Mbombela on 15 July 2023 in Mbombela
    e. Tshwane on 05 August 2023 at SuperSport Park in Centurion
    f. Johannesburg on 01 October 2023 at Marks Park Sports Club
  5. This promotional competition commences at the venue of each of the events mentioned above.
  6. The finalists will be determined by random draw and notified on the day of the event from the stage. If the person whose ticket has been drawn is not there, a redraw will take place, until a finalist has been chosen.
  7. To be eligible for the random draw, participants must visit the Proton stand at each event, view their range of cars, and place the tear off section on their race numbers in the lucky draw container as entry to the competition. Participants must be present at the lucky draw prize giving at each event. Participants must be able to present their race number as proof of entering the competition. Only one entry per person.
  8. One of the six finalists stand a chance to win a Proton X50 Standard to the Value of R449 900 (“the Prize”). The Prize is inclusive of licence and registration fees. Insurance and fuel are not included in the Prize.
  9. All chosen finalists will be required to provide their proof of identity to verify that they are above the age of 18, be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and provide their lucky draw ticket.
  10. To win the Prize, the six finalists must attend the SPAR Grand Prix Prize Giving Event where each finalist will randomly draw a key to open the Proton X50 Standard. The finalist that can open the Proton X50 Standard with the key they have selected will be the winner of the Prize. There will only be one winner.
  11. Each finalist will be able to invite one additional person to accompany them to the SPAR Grand Prix Prize Giving Event. SPAR will arrange all transport and accommodation for the seven finalists to attend the SPAR Grand Prix Prize Giving Event.
  12. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  13. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
  14. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost.
  15. All participants, finalists and the winner, as the case may be, indemnify SPAR and Proton South Africa, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters) and/or use of the Prize.
  16. Copies of the competition rules are available at each of the SPAR Women’s Challenge races; Cape Town, Gqeberha, Durban, Mbombela, Tshwane, Johannesburg and online at sparwomensrace.co.za.
